Job Summary:
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical codes, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with local and national codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and adheres to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced electricians.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid journeyman electrician’s license or equivalent certification.
- years of experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments (including confined spaces and heights).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Compensation:
- $32 per hour + per diem
